About

Lindi is an experienced psychotherapist who specializes in family mental health - treating children, adolescents and adults.

After receiving her master’s degree in social work from the University of Toronto, Lindi completed a postgraduate fellowship at the Hincks Dellcrest Centre, a leading Canadian children’s mental health and teaching centre. She received extensive family therapy training in the Department of Psychiatry at the Hospital for Sick Children and has worked in various clinical settings including children’s mental health agencies, crisis centres and hospitals.

Lindi is a certified practitioner of Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Triple P Positive Parenting Program. She also has comprehensive training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Lindi worked for 7 years as a Child and Family Therapist at the Integra Program at the Child Development Institute. Integra is Canada’s only accredited children's mental health agency serving children and youth with mental health issues complicated by learning disabilities. She provided psychotherapy to children and families, in addition to facilitating parenting workshops and social competence groups for children.

Now in her full-time private practice, Lindi uses cutting edge research and best practices to help children, adolescents and adults make meaningful, lasting changes to their lives.
